Our 24 hour/7 day a week communications center provides call taking and radio dispatch services for our units in both Orange and Rockland Counties. Our CAD (computer aided dispatch) system tracks our ambulances with GPS (global positioning satellite) locators. This system allows us to utilize system status management by dispatching the closest available unit. Our communications staff are certified by the National Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatch as Emergency Medical Dispatchers.
